Sharing Knowledge: MEP BIM Revit Training at Technological University Dublin

Atualizado: 5 de jun. de 2024

Recently, I had the opportunity to deliver an introductory MEP BIM Revit training course at Technological University Dublin, Ireland. The experience was incredible and enriching in many ways.

Working at Ecopipe, a company that sells TIemme products, I was able to share my knowledge with two groups, one in the morning with 15 people and one in the evening with 8 students.

The reception from the students and the faculty staff was fantastic, creating an environment conducive to learning and the exchange of ideas.

The training covered topics such as:

  • The use of specific and well-parameterized families to optimize BIM quantification.

  • Basic concepts of BIM and parametric modeling.

  • Differences between BIM and Revit.

  • Demonstration of developed projects.

  • BIM budgeting for creating tables in Revit.

I believe that the experience of entering a European university to share knowledge was unique and sensational. The opportunity to interact with students and professionals from different cultures and backgrounds enriches my work and motivates me to seek more and more knowledge and improvement.

This type of initiative demonstrates Ecopipe's commitment to innovation and the professional development of its employees. The company recognizes the importance of BIM as a tool for building the future and invests in training its professionals to be prepared for the challenges of the market.

I would like to thank Technological University Dublin for the opportunity and all the students who participated in the training. I hope that the knowledge shared will be useful in their careers and contribute to the development of increasingly efficient and innovative projects.
