In a pioneering initiative, the Rio Grande do Norte Military Fire Department (CBMRN) took a significant step towards modernizing public engineering by implementing the Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology in its hydromechanical projects. To support this change, Deskgraphics, a company specializing in BIM solutions, provided Revit MEP training for the institution's public servants.
The training, led by me, covered everything from the basic concepts of BIM methodology to the development of hydromechanical projects and families for Revit. The participants demonstrated great interest and participation, which contributed to a dynamic and productive learning environment.
The support of the Deskgraphics team was fundamental to the success of the training. The team provided all necessary teaching materials, assisted in resolving doubts, and created a conducive learning environment.
Revit MEP Modeling Tips:
Utilize parametric modeling tools to create objects with flexibility and precision.
Develop custom families to optimize the modeling process and ensure project quality.
Utilize section and cutting views to visualize project details.
Collaborate with other professionals in real-time to streamline the workflow.
Leverage Revit's analysis features to evaluate project performance.
Conclusion:
The implementation of BIM methodology at CBMRN represents an important step in modernizing the state's public engineering. The Revit MEP training, conducted with the support of Deskgraphics, contributed to the development of the institution's public servants' skills and the success of this initiative.
